I will forever remember his trips to the lakehouse….running out of the car and straight for the water. He knew when he was “off duty” and the kids were inside, or when he needed to be guarding his charges to keep them safe from strangers or just the lake neighbors.
Duke could work his way into your lap on the couch and think you wouldn’t notice…because he knew he was family.
I will miss him terribly….and love him…always.
